"Complaintes au Bord d'un Autre Monde" is a sorrowing, ascending and enveloping ambient music excursion delivered by two acclaimed contempary projects in the post industrial music field. Antikatechon (alias Davide Del Col) and Philippe Blache from Day Before Us have published a number of albums for indie labels specialized in dark music and experimental ventures. The quality of this collaborative work lies on the ability to associate soul crushing melodious textures with haunting and ominous soundscapes. The album is built around electronic loops, detached piano ostinato motifs, guitar infused tones and a vast collection of processed noises. The album intends to create immediate emotional shivers but also operates on a spiritual level. A collaborative release which subverts musical frontiers.
